pH & Oxygen – Design Ideas for a New Compass

I’d like to mention that a new section has been added to our workshop on the third day that will show you how to reset O2 transfer capacity within the arterial/venal endothelial structure – system wide – to get it back to a level of youth.

And it’s something that works on everyone!

This translates into increased oxygen acceptance and cellular energy production across the board.

Woo hoo, this is cool.

When we look at the blood under the microscope in its living and dried state, we’ll often see an inference to issues with the tissues. Seeing these things can lead us to make all kinds of connections – it’s applied physiology at a micro level. We know, and it has been well documented, that as aging occurs cellular energy production often falls. This of course means that oxygen utilization is falling along with it.

If you are familiar with the work of Emanuel Revici you know that much of his di-phasic paradigm has to do with the effective use of oxygen utilization. Are things going anaerobic or dysaerobic? It is two sides of the physiological coin.

These two sides are why someone can have just as much trouble with being too alkaline in body systems as being too acid regarding measures of pH. This has a lot to do with cell membrane architecture affecting lipids and charge distribution which affects pH and the functional aspects of how the oxygen is being used in the system. Oxygen is the currency of the coin on either side.

Understanding how to reset O2 transfer is big. Otto Warburg has said “oxygen is the giver of life.” His research was also pretty clear how cancer has a difficult time surviving when oxygen is present and cellular energy is high.

Revici’s understanding of cell architecture and the function it leads to with a yin or yang quality meant that if a person did have cancer, it would be approached from two distinct perspectives dependent on how an individual measured as to their di-phasic nature at any given level of physiological organization. This becomes critical because in order to get oxygen to the place it needs to be, the approach can be a polar opposite depending on one’s biological individuality.

Once this is grasped, and a realization that the O2 transfer mechanism from blood through capillaries to cells is a mechanistic and switchable system, it really explodes the potential for providing unmatched health benefits to all of your clients – and at the same time provides much deeper understanding of the physiology and mechanics of what we do.

If we acknowledge Revici’s perspective that as we age we have a tendency to experience more homotropic forces – i.e. we fall apart – then in understanding cell architecture, we know how we fall apart begins to really mess with sodium, chloride, potassium, and other minerals at the cell level, and in the process of this cell breakdown, we can move more alkaline in places we should not be.

Pathology Determination

I recently picked up some older material written by Dr. George Albert Wilson. He wrote the material we present in our workshop on the Pathology Determination Test which is a comprehensive perspective on blood clot retraction patterns. (Wilson did the research at Spears Chiropractic Hospital outside of Denver on thousands of patients in the 1950’s to arrive at measurable documented conclusions regarding health.)

Wilson is emphatic in these conclusions which his clinical research has shown. He states;

“The pH of the body in health and in sickness, and its significance, is little understood today, even by doctors. Probably the reason is because it has been difficult to understand. However, research over the past few years has greatly clarified the question and made it more understandable.

It is now known that an alkalinity usually is a factor in serious chronic ailments and in acute ailments when life is hanging in the balance, and that the pH always goes higher before death, unless it (death) comes from a heart attack, blood clot, hemorrhage, strangulation, asphyxiation or accident.

But a person must know when, as well as how, to make a pH test for alkalinity and how to interpret it. It is made of a urine specimen. But as with any other scientific test, it must be done right if reliable information is to be obtained.

Also it must be known that a temporary alkalinity, lasting only a short time, can take place caused by shock, emotional upset, becoming overly tired, wrong eating, becoming thoroughly chilled, the menses, etc., which also must be understood.

However, when none of those things are involved, and a high alkaline pH of the body is found, a person will know if he is chronically sick or has an NE (nervous or emotional) disorder, that his chances of recovery are not so good unless the alkalinity can be changed, or if he isn’t sick, he will know his health isn’t good, that he has a low resistance to sickness, and that he will become tired over the least effort.

It should likewise be known that certain types of people have a greater tendency toward an alkalinity and will more often be found to have an alkaline pH. These are the ones in whom we are interested, since an alkalinity causes these people to be more susceptible to the NE disorders and the Visceral Muscle Tensions.”

This is quite the opposite of much of the ballyhoo heard today in certain health circles. How does Dr. Wilson approach correction to these overly alkaline and debilitating situations? He guides one to certain activities and gets people to eat more acidizing foods and to get other acidizing factors into the system.

Oh my! Wilson is surely a heretic attacking the religion of alkalinity where it is spoken that all ill-health derives from too much acidity. But here we see a polar opposite. And so it is says the clinical data. Wilson might say it’s time to be heretics, basing our perspective on science and observed phenomenon that is rightly measured and understood.

And this is key; rightly measured and understood.

We know that pH is simply a measure of hydrogen concentration and it reflects at one level the resistance or conductance of the flow of electricity in a system. Too much alkalinity and things can really slow or sieze up – electrically – and we are electric beings after all. We know that hydrogen is the most ubiquitous element in our world, to include in us, and we know that how hydrogen moves so also can move oxygen.

What happens when you mix hydrogen and oxygen together? Properly you get H2O – yep water. You might recall in June’s last newsletter we spoke of water as IT.

Map your pH & O2

If you look at a map you will see a compass pointer with the arrow pointing north, and you know just as well there is the opposite direction of south. One way is not right or wrong, they are just directions. And so it is when you ponder pH, acid and alkaline are just directions. But just as you travel on a road and overshoot your destination too far in a particular direction, it can have consequences. So too with pH.

If north and south is pH on your body compass, east and west can be likened to oxygen and its potential for anaerobic or dysaerobic utilization.

Look at a map and you will find the roads that trucks travel to pick up and deliver their payloads. Map the body and you will see roads as well – the arterial, venal, and capillary system – the system your red blood cells travel to pick up and deliver their payload.

Use over time degrades roads, and use over time, like simply living as reflected in the aging process, degrades the roads your blood cells travel. But knowing your compass and what the directions mean on the map, where pH can translate to speed and oxygen can act as a repair catalyst, you can reestablish the trucking industry at a very high level in your own body (including your clients) and reverse road conditions – very quickly and lastingly. This is the topic I started this discussion with at the beginning, and these are all the subjects of Biomedx workshops.

We desire to give you a new kind of compass,

and an understanding to read what it’s saying, and to show you the microscope as a search tool to ferret out the directions you should be paying attention. This results in consequent actions you can properly take to move health in better directions in measurable ways.

I will expand more on this particular subject next time, suffice to say for now I can barely contain myself sometimes with how exciting this work can get and what it can mean at many levels for you, your family, and those you serve – which ultimately means sooner or later more and more will get it and we’ll change in a positive way how we act on our planet.
