This is not only a very rewarding service to provide, but it is definitely needed and can be an excellent stand alone business or an adjunct to any existing clinic.

As a point of reference for investment purposes, setting up a turnkey facility with an imaging camera, computer system, software, a beginning marketing budget, and clinical certification training for operators/staff will run about $30,000. (Camera, computer, software and peripheral equipment is $24,950.)

Essentially anyone can be trained as a technician to do this work, however qualified primary care point of entry physicians must interpret the scans. This means an MD, DC, DO, or other professional licensed as a primary care practitioner in your state. We have physician interpreter services available to any facility without a qualified physician on staff or while waiting for existing staff to become qualified.

If you would like to investigate adding the mammotherm technology to your clinic, or opening a screening center in a particular area, please contact Biomedx for details.
