The information to follow is very important to learn and understand if you should desire to have optimal breast health.

Let's start with an overview of the items we are going to discuss:

  1. Anatomy of the breast,
  2. How breast cancer develops,
  3. An exercise for maintaining breast health,
  4. Dietary and environmental factors that can stress the breast,
  5. Regaining optimal breast health in a natural, non-destructive manner.

Breast Anatomy

On the right in the image above is the left breast showing the internal breast fascia structure. The yellow area is the superficial facia, otherwise known as fat. On the left side is shown the right breast with the lymphatic drainage system in blue with the arrows showing the direction of lymph flow along with the axillary nodes which the lymph must pass through in order to get cleaned up (detoxified). The lymph fluid is ultimately recirculated back to the blood stream through the thoracic duct. (The lymphatic system is your second circulatory system.)

How Breast Cancer Develops

In the related article "
The Bras That Bind", you were introduced to the concept of aromatic hydrocarbons within our environment that in large measure are very similar to human sex hormones. These environmental toxins gravitate to the breasts which generally attract this "hormone looking" class of chemicals.

The body recognizes sex hormones as potent chemicals and once used, they need to be broken down by liver enzymes and then rapidly removed from the body. You will recall that the mammary glands are a primary producer of the female hormone estrogen, and once used, it also must be removed from the body quickly.

As shown in the diagram of the breast, the lymphatic vessels move from the breast, through the axillary lymph nodes under the armpit, over the collar bone, to the thoracic duct. This is a major pathway for the breast to drain toxins. If the lymph nodes close up (antiperspirant use) or something else impedes the flow (tight bras), toxins back-up, an imbalance occurs, and the sex hormone by-products become destructive molecules called free radicals that begin cellular damage (lipid peroxidation) which can kick start the process known as cancer.

As you can see, it is very important to keep the lymphatic system of the breast in tip top shape. There are other factors that come into play in the cancer development process, but before we touch on those items, here is an exercise you should get acquainted with that is very important for the health of your breasts

An Exercise for Maintaining Breast Health

1) Start by raising your arms over your head for a few minutes a day to help open the axillary lymph glands in the armpit.

2) With arms raised, take the fingers or palm of the opposite hand, and gently but rhythmically create a pumping action in your armpit directing very slight pressure up and towards the collar bone. This helps excite and move the axillary node garbage towards the thoracic duct thereby helping to drain the breast of toxins.

Do it a few minutes everyday--take off the bra, lay down, and do the exercises to help your breasts stay internally healthy.

Dietary and Environmental Factors That Stress the Breast

Health and disease are largely determined by states of order and disorder in our body. This order (balance) or disorder (unbalance) exists at the cellular level. It is at the cellular level where the rubber meets the road so to speak regarding your health.

All the cells in your body have an optimal environment in which they exist. This is composed of optimum hydration levels, pH, mineral balance, the absence of toxins, etc.

The food you eat, the air you breath, the thoughts you think: This creates the environment in which the cells of your body exist.

If breast cancer develops, it is not a "thing" that is just related to the breast, it is really related to your entire body. Though the top 3 reasons mentioned above and elsewhere (mammograms, tight bras and antiperspirants) are definitely breast specific, the precursors that kick start the whole cancer process are the things that alter the underlying biological terrain of the cell.

We talked about aromatic hydrocarbons that mimic human hormones which become a toxic factor which targets the breast. But other things can also be toxic to the body as a whole, not just the breast specifically. The polyunsaturated oils which oxidize easily are toxic to the body due to the free radical molecules that they can create. Canola oil (along with cottonseed oil) are among the worst offenders and are oils that should not be consumed. Just do a web search on canola oil for some enlightenment on this. Other oils are the hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils. These are trans fats and also are high free radical producers.

Artificial preservatives and food additives like aspartame, msg, and so many more which are chemicals, are toxic for the body at the cellular level. Think about it; if humans were not meant to consume it for sustenance, then how can chemicals possibly be compatible with the human body? They are not. When the body consumes something which is foreign to life, free radicals are produced in the body to burn up the unrecognized garbage. That is their job. The problem is, in the process of burning up the garbage, they can also do cellular damage to good cells and that creates an environment ripe for danger.

In order for the body to move out garbage through the lymphatic system, it needs to be well hydrated. Dehydration is a huge problem and a stress factor. Water is water. Coffee, milk, soda, beer, juice; these things are not water. Would you wash your clothes in fruit juice? No. To wash your cells, you need water everyday. Not the chemical water out of your tap which has been chlorinated and fluoridated, but clean filtered water. (Coffee by the way is a diuretic, it takes more water out than consuming it puts in.)

Eating too much enzyme deficient cooked food stresses the body. You may recall that when the toxins need to be removed from the breast, liver enzymes that are big free radical fighters are called to action. But if too much cooked food is being consumed that has not had the enzymes in the food replaced with supplemental food enzymes, then the body must call on enzyme reserves, sometimes using enzymes that are meant for a different purpose.

Eating too much animal protein, too much cooked food, and consuming  mineral depleted vegetables grown on soils that have been over-farmed completely stress the system through upsetting the body's pH balance.

So here we have a theme of what stresses the cells of the body.

Consuming too much animal protein.
Consuming too much cooked food.
Consuming mineral depleted vegetables.
Consuming too many toxic chemicals.
Consuming too little water.

Notice that all of this has to do with what passes your lips in the form of things that sustain your life? Mmm… And we have not even mentioned things like emotional stress, anger, holding things in, etc, which has been verified also causes direct pH changes to the body.

Combine all of this with our top three; mammograms, tight bras and antiperspirants and what do you get? Well, keep all the garbage in and x-ray it once a year to really stir things up and bingo bango...

>> Breast Stress <<

A perfect environment for cancer. You control these things. Cancer is a constitutional disease. It need not be feared once understood, as understanding brings about solutions. If you hear any type of doctor or "expert" with some government agency telling you they do not know what causes breast cancer, then know that they are ignorant, ill informed, in denial, or worse. They may be advocating an agenda of chemotherapy, radiation or surgery which has been proven very profitable for them, but could be absolutely devastating for you.

"I am from the government (or the hospital) and I am here to help you." Ha! Don't you believe it. Don't believe me either. Do your own research.

Regaining optimal breast health in a natural, non-destructive manner.

First let's talk in generalities before you have to work on "regaining" anything. Viewing the list from above on what causes health stress, lets adapt ourselves to a healthier lifestyle.

Consume less animal protein.

Consume less cooked food. If you do eat cooked food, supplement your meal with food enzymes which simply replace the enzymes that were destroyed by the heat from cooking.

Buy organic. This should be as much as possible, including meat. You should not have to subject yourself to the extra hormones, antibiotics and other chemicals given to animals through the corporate agri-business practices.

Buy organic to escape the pesticide residue on veggies and to get a higher quantity mineral content in your diet.

Become a label reader and eliminate chemicals and additives and processed methods which make food a non-food. The shorter the ingredient label, typically the better it is for health.

On the top of the avoid list; hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, canola and cottonseed oil, aspartame (nutrasweet), msg, corn syrup (sugar). We'll talk more about sugar in a moment.

Drink half your body weight in ounces of water every day. Filtered water, not direct from the municipal tap or underground well because there are too many chemicals these days which are everywhere. You can add ionic trace minerals to your water so you charge the water with mineral life which your body uses to balance itself.

The Cancer Process

So let's say you need to regain health because cancer is suspected or found. We can review something that Otto Warburg won a Nobel prize for over 60 years ago. And that is this;

Cancer grows in an oxygen deficient environment.

Now, the only thing that can grow in an oxygen deficient environment is that which lives through anaerobic fermentation. Anaerobic is without oxygen, fermentation happens with sugar, and in the human body this occurs in an acid terrain.

Anaerobic fermentation is the process that occurs with yeast, mold, and fungus. So to properly think of cancer, start thinking of it like mold on cheese and you will be pretty close.

Want cancer to disappear in your body? You have to do three things:

1. Don't feed it (meaning NO sugar).
2. Oxygenate your cells.
3. Alkalize

Do everything that was listed above but be much more serious.

No animal protein (this is acid producing)
Consume large quantities of completely organic (preferably non-starch) vegetables, including fresh juice.
Drink water.
Exercise to oxygenate.
Become a deep breather--a belly breather.
Move the lymphatic system.
Clean your gut (a large source of internal toxins that can burden the system).
Cleanse you liver and make sure your phase one and phase two liver detoxification mechanisms are working.
Consume enzymes like candy.
Eat the seeds from apples and apricot pits.
Re-mineralize your body.
Meditate, contemplate, visualize, sing, laugh, let go, get in touch with your deeper self, your spiritual self.
Visualize your white blood cells as pac-men gobbling up cancer garbage.
Remember that the mind is a most powerful thing.

We won't go into the detail of these items here, nor will we tell you of all that you can do. We just want to point you in a direction for further research. But know this; do not fear cancer for cancer can disappear so fast when you support your body in optimally health ways it will surprise you as well as those who do not understand how health unfolds in the body.

Cancer potential is in everyone, everyday. Whether it develops is a function of the underlying terrain to which it can manifest, and the strength of the underlying immune system to which it will be exposed.

God designed the body and God provides the natural solutions to heal the body. Work with it, not against it. Man, through profit motive, ignorance or worse, too often forget the work of God, and they forget the natural. Don't make that mistake yourself.
