The images here are from our equipment presentation and are designed to show prospective buyers of a thermal imaging system what they should expect for their money in terms of the level of technology and image quality.
If you have seen thermal images in the past you will immediately note a radical departure in what you have likely seen to what you are now seeing. These pictures reflect higher levels of execution for color and temperature coupling along with very high resolution capture in the proper infrared bandwidth. Truly extraordinary? You bet.
Fraud in the Marketplace
Some thermal imaging systems costs far more then the offerings of Biomedx and yet offer poorer image quality and lesser technology. To compensate, the thermal companies selling such lesser equipment will often fudge on the clinical training for their practitioners and tell them that less critical protocols are allowed because of the "greatness" of their systems. This is outright false.
For accurate breast scanning a controlled room temperature of 68 degrees F is absolutely essential as is a sympathetic nervous system challenge with the hands in cold water. Anything less is downright fraudulent as far as we are concerned and these firms have no business in the clinical marketplace. We can only assume they take this position because their cameras are really not as great as they claim and they are unable to detect the differences. That is not the case with Biomedx.
As an individual who may have a breast scan performed, you will know if proper procedure is being followed as you will be in a cold, temperature controlled room and during part of the procedure your sympathetic nervous system will be challenged by sticking your hands in ice water at which time a set of pictures will again be taken.
